Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to make a strong first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The pluses and minuses that jump out at buyers shape their first thoughts about your home and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this assists us in determining what plan of action we can use to invite buyers from the street and into your house. If your house isn't the best it can look on the outside with refreshed paint and bright greenery we'll need to tackle those as well. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your place seem to say, "Welcome Home" to a buyer? Touring your home from a buyer's perspective, I'll suggest adjustments that enhance Open House appeal.
I'll tell you take away anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be free and clear. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get stored away too. We'll simplify the decor of house. Ugly or dirty spots make your home feel smaller and buyers have a more difficult time imagining themselves calling your place home.
I'll review every room of your home. Changes that directly impact your sale price include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should get removed, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs changing, fixtures that need replacing, and windows that need washing
We'll make sure your house is likable and that it's inviting, staying away from "loud" or "personalized" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about renting furniture. The goal is for your home to look lived in as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when it's time to open your home up to buyers, because all of the changes come together to create a picture of what buyers can expect after they choose to buy your house. To counteract darkness is critical and we'll part the curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a pleasant scent flows throughout your house. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your sofa and bed. Buyers should feel like your home has the potential to be. |
